As co-founder and CTO of anybill, I shaped the company's technological foundation. I built and led a tech team of 13. In the early stages I single-handedly programmed all the web portals and apps, laying down the core architecture that supported the company's growth. I automated numerous processes, increasing efficiency across the company. As anybill grew, my focus shifted to robust data pipelines so the company could scale and reliably handle its growing data volumes.
Remonon
Scrum Team Lead & Developer
October 2024 - July 2025
Remonon, operated by NOVAT GmbH right next to the US Army garrison in Grafenwöhr, is a mobile app that lets members of the US Forces in Germany reclaim VAT on their everyday purchases. Instead of handling paper tax-free forms at the checkout, users scan their receipts in the app and Remonon takes care of the process with the retailers. As Scrum Team Lead and Developer, I organised the development team's sprints, backlog and reviews and worked hands-on on the app and its backend, keeping delivery predictable for a product that is used daily by service members and their families.
Product Owner & Developer

GrowBuddy is an AI-powered grow companion for cannabis home growers on iOS and Android. A single photo is enough for the app to identify nutrient deficiencies, pests and diseases, a chatbot answers questions about the grow, and a diary with automatic phase detection, care reminders and location-based weather warnings guides users from seed to harvest. The app is used anonymously, with all data hosted in the EU, and is trusted by more than 5,000 growers. As Product Owner and Developer, I own the roadmap and priorities and build the product myself, from the mobile app to the AI features behind it.

CLELO is a patented reading device that helps children between three and ten learn to read on their own. Developed together with educators and families, it highlights the text in sync with the narration, gives automatic feedback when children read aloud, lets parents and grandparents record books in their own voice, and offers reading levels, quizzes and interactive books from well-known children's publishers. A study by the University of Regensburg found measurable gains in reading speed, accuracy and motivation. As Scrum Team Lead and Developer, I lead the team's Scrum process and contribute to the software behind the device and its reading platform.
Freelance Senior Developer
April 2026 - August 2026
Regensburg-based start-up brainjo develops VR-based digital health applications (DiGA) that doctors and therapists can prescribe to complement, not replace, conventional psychotherapy. Its first application, built together with the MEDICE Health Family, is aimed at children aged eight to thirteen with ADHD: a VR training programme and an accompanying parent app guide them through 24 sessions in five modules over three months, in which they practise psychotherapeutic strategies through play. More than 70 families support development with feedback and usability testing, and a €2 million seed round led by High-Tech Gründerfonds funds the clinical study on the way to approval. As Freelance Senior Developer, I continued development of the app and drove it forward technically, drawing on my experience from numerous app projects.
